World Asthma Day News

World Asthma Day 2010 took place on Tuesday, May 4. Organizers in dozens of countries carried out activities around the theme "You Can Control Your Asthma."

On World Asthma Day, GINA launched a global Asthma Control Challenge, calling on governments and health care workers to cut asthma-related hospitalizations 50% in five years through better asthma control.
